Hi guys! There is this grand event coming down on this Sunday, 22 December 2013. It is the grand launching of The Atmosphere which is located at Seri Kembangan at 10am. You are invited!
It is the grand launching of The Atmosphere in Seri Kembangan. It is a new shopping area and they have invited 20 international and local artists to paint 80 mural arts in the area. These murals are special because they are 3D and interactive. It is Malaysia's most diverse collection of 3D murals. It is definitely going to be a Fun place to be. Mural arts are something that is magnificent. I can't wait to check out the mural arts! And best of all the admission is free.
The last time I shared about my makeup-craze which is My Addictionwas last year. Wow! That was quite a while because my collection has been growing ever since. This has been one of the 'most-requested-post' from everyone. It took me a while to brave myself to share you my blush collection. (*wink*)
As you can see, I am indeed a Blush Collector. Yes, a Blush Fiend indeed.
Blush has always been my favorite makeup product. Why? I highly think that their packaging and colors attracts me the most. I'm a sucker of pretty packaging. Aren't you? I actually had a few blushers that I left out from this pic. Sorry dude! You'll just stay in my makeup bag ok? Haha!
Over the left side of the
picture above, you'll see blushers with amazingly pretty and cute packaging. This includes brands from Jill Stuart, Etude House, Physician Formula and
I know we’re already half way through
November. I had this in my draft for weeks and I couldn’t believe I actually
forgot to click publish. Anyway, better be late than never heh? October has been
an awesome month to me. Didn’t get to do much shopping because I’m saving big
for Christmas! Did those pretty Christmas set from our favourite makeup/skincare
brands calling your names?
I’m digging into my wardrobe recently and found some products that I really love long ago. (Of course not all) Here you go for my October’s favourite!
Hera CC Cream
CC Cream or full name, Hera Complete Care Cream SPF35/PA++ is one of my favourite CC
You heard it. It's all about NARS today. Everyone of us love NARS but I highly suggest that they gonna do something about their rubbery packaging. Because it practically melts and become really sticky and dirty due to our humid/hot climax in my country (practically in South East Asia). I got so mad and angry everytime I picked up the sticky packaging that I actually put it aside and not using them for a while.
My initial plan was to clean the packaging and yes, it turns out well. (I'll blog about how to clean it soon). Unfortunely, my butter fingers decided to kill my NARS and broke it of into two pieces. Oh yes, if you followed me in Instagram you'll see my horrified picture. I left no choice to fix it and depot them.
I'm glad that I've gotten my Z-palette last month from Shopping District. Now, it shall be my new home for my NARS. This depotting method will involved with heat due to the pot size and thick packaging. It's better to use heat for a bigger pan to avoid crack. I find this works very well for me which I would like to share with you.
Today we'll talk about my favorite beauty box among all the boxes in Slowbro's Beauty Box Series. Can't tell you how excited I am every month receiving all these beauty boxes. I had tons of them at home that I had trouble to sort them out now. Haha! Let's see what we got for this month.
Wow! That looks pretty much filled in the box! The box I received is the October box. Though I still prefer their old purple sturdy box, this box is really good for recycle. (lol! I actually re-use them and send stuff to my friends. Haha!)
October it's a month for National Breast Cancer Awareness. As a women and also a beauty blogger, I'm all in to support this Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA). As I stated in previous post, we've came up with a Pink October tag where we named it 'Rock Pinktober' Tag!
All you girls have to do is to show us your PINK stuff in your social media platforms with hashtaging #rockpinktober #pinktober #pinkawareness #pinkBCA. You may refer to my previous post here.
So today, I gonna show you the 5 PINK stuff I really like for Pinktober Tag!
I'm not a true fan of pink, but I couldn't resist of how cute and pretty the packaging are in Pink!
It's October!! And it's Pink October! October is the month for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in an effort to raise awareness of the disease and to support those who are affected by breast cancer.
Breast cancer comprises 22.9% of all cancer in women and affects one million women worldwide every year. Most cases of breast cancer cannot be prevented through any action on the part of the affected person. Due to this randomness, breast cancer can affect or will affect all of us.
In supporting of the breast cancer awareness, me and Traclyn from LaVogueFemme decided to join the pink crew and rock it up - "'ROCK PINKTOBER"!
Hello Sleek Makeup! Sleek Makeup is one of the makeup brand that I really like. Why? Because they are famous with their quality. Some say it's equivalent to MAC at a very affordable price. Today I'm going to show you a recent palette I fall in love with Sleek i-Divine Respect Palette. This palette is part of the collaboration between london based fashion house PPQ and Sleek Make-up under Shangri-La collection.
There are two palettes in the collection, but this Respect palette grabbed my attention. The Respect palette is a mixture of warm toned neutrals, plum and corals, hint of hot pinks in a mix of shimmer and matte shades.
Don't you love the sleek packaging of the eyeshadow? =)
There're quite a few of beauty boxes subscription in Malaysia. I guess most would have already knew some. Today I gonna talk about the one my friends been talking about for long and I'd missed. Like most boxes out there, Mivva Beauty Box runs the same concept. Where you pay a certain amount and wait for your surprise parcel to be delivered to your doorsteps.
I am liking the black color polka dots design. The only think I wish their box would be sturdier. I don't really fancy the paper cupboard box cause it couldn't support a lot of weight else the box will be out of shape. :'(
Wake me up when September ends!! September is my birthday month, and yes I forgot to mentioned it's my Blog Anniversary too!! =) (Giveaway anyone?) September treats me really well and hopefully October too! Here I would like to share some of my September favorite items. Most of the item are cosmetics - just because I put a lot of makeup more than usual. =p
It's been a while since I last update on Slowbro's Beauty Box Series. Among all the beauty box subscriptions in Malaysia, Modbox is one of my favorite. Unfortunately, they decided to stop all their subscriptions since April to enhance or revamp their box. I've been waiting for their re-launched ever since then and it's finally here! I'm so excited to see what's the surprise. Indeed it is!
Look what came into my mail box!
Does it looks like a pizza box to you? In fact, it is - just a smaller version (probably a personal pan size?) The new packaging of Modbox is pretty small box if you compared to their previous purple box. I prefer their previous box though because I personally like to keep boxes. This is not bad though. Talk about recycle and eco - friendly now.
You must have wondering what's the surprise underneath the boxes and what's the different between the old and the new.
A few years ago if you asked me about BB Cream I will question you what it is about? Now BB Creams seems to be everywhere. I believe most people join the bandwagon and even owned a few BB Creams in your stash like I do.
The question is what's the buzz about it?
The origins of BB cream started back in the 1960′s in Germany for patients of laser treatments. Then in the mid-1980′s the Korean market grabbed hold of this idea and tweaked it to cater to south Asian (primarily Korean) women as an all-in one, multi-tasking skin cream.BB Cream which known as Blemish Balm is promoted as an all-in-one facial cosmetic product to replace serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation and sunblock. According to New York Times, BB creams make up 13% of the cosmetics market in South Korea. They even have BB creams for men too!
We all know that RON95 petrol and Diesel price increased by 10% since 4th September 2013. It's now the time for everyone of us to get a Hybrid Car!! Don't know what's a Hybrid Car? Not sure if you need it?? Guess what?!? Honda Malaysia is currently running a campaign"THE GREAT HONDA HYBRID DISCOVERY". Basically, Honda is having a chance for you to 'rent' a Honda Hybrid car for 3Days 2Nights before you decide to own one. Sounds cool isn't it?? All you need to do is to join The Honda Hybrid Family Road Trip.
Honda Hybrid CR-Z
And hey yo!! Little Slowbrogal is one of the participant of The Honda Hybrid Family Road Trip in Johor. And my date wasHonda Hybrid CR-Z!! It's a sport car yo!! Can you hear my excitement?? So what do we do with the car for 3 days 2 night? Drive the car down all the way to the South - Johor Bahru! Too bad, the car isn't allowed to enter Singapore though. *wink*
Take me home for 3 Days and 2 Nights
So, I went to show off my Honda CR-Z at The Honda Hybrid Family Road Trip in Johor Bahru. Make those people who're there for test drive jealous! (Joking la..) The RED CR-Z is really stealing all the limelight though.

The title speaks what I wanna say in this post. It's kinda crazy to see me blogging about concert in my blog. But...I rarely get a chance to enjoy a concer as a VVIP! (except for Jay Chao) So, please bare with me ok? I promised I'll show you more handsome guys pictures for eye-candy. =p
When CNBLUE came to Spore, I really wanted to go but...I guess their fans base are very strong in Spore that most of the tickets were sold out really fast. Same goes to the in Malaysia though. But luck was on my side when I was sponsored to go by Samsung Malaysia. (Change your phone to Samsung now! Lol!)
CNBLUE board before entering the concert hall - Stadium Merdeka. I came in the hall the right time, the whole stadium was soooooo BLUE!!
You know I'm a big fan of Yong Hwa, I practically screamed of excitement when I know I'm going to their concert. Many thanks to Samsung Malaysia as the main sponsor, I was given a media pass to attend their conference the day before their concert. But since it's Friday and I'm still stuck at my work, I sent my representative down to take more close-up pictures of CNBLUE for me. Below post is written by 'Arms', my representative =))
CNBLUE was on tour in Malaysia recently and I was lucky to attend their press conference at Grand Hyatt Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 23rd August 2013. I think most of you know who CNBLUE is but for those who aren't, it's a Seoul-based rock band and they truly rock!
Firstly, the guests need to register themselves and check whether their names are in the list so they can get their passes.
Ok, first of all, to those who don't know who CNBLUE is, it's a
Korean band from South Korea. I know what you're thinking, of course
people are excited, Kpop is so famous right now. But this is different,
CNBLUE is a rock band! Yes, a rock band; Guys who play instruments and
write their own songs. How awesome is that.
The guys is on their Blue Moon World Tour which is sponsored by
Samsung and it is Malaysia's turn to have them perform at Stadium Negara
on 24th August 2013.
If you had yet to get your ticket, go grab now before it's sold out. By now, the only available tickets were VVIP (RM578), Royal (RM478) and Special Zone (RM378).
Most people say that Sunday is Laundry Day. I totally agree on this. As a working adult who's staying alone without my parents, Sunday is the perfect day for me to do my housework - cleaning, washing, mopping etc. (But of course I don't do my laundry once a week. I'm not that lazy la.....*flip hair*)
Doing laundry isn't an easy task especially when you have stained your clothes!! Lipstick? Blood? Food? No matter the offender, but that's more than enough for you to pull your hair off. Fortunately, I found my power stain remover tool that solved all my problems. So now I can have more time to sleep on my Sunday. Haha! XD
As the clothing stain removal expert, Vanish contains oxidizing agents that remove your stubborn stains. There are a few types of Vanish Stain Removal but the most common used are Vanish Power O2 Fabric Stain Removal (Pink) and Vanish Power O2 Crystal White Fabric Stain Removal (White).
Before you start remove the stain, there are three general rule that you need to know:
I couldn't remember when was the last time I braved myself to a warehouse sale. Going into a warehouse sale is like going to a battlefield. Haha!! (Does that remind you of Estee Lauder Sales?) Last week there was Shiseido Private Sale.I'd actually shared my 'little' hauls (not little I know =p) from the sale though my Instagram earlier. Do follow me if you haven't.
I have to declare this again. I am a loyal Shiseido White Lucent user. I have yet to find any whitening products that work far better than this. As a cheapskate me, I only re-stocked my skincare when there's sale. I don'tbuy them atcounter because of this reason. It's painstaking when you know you can get the same thing at cheaper price. Haha!!
Some insight of the sales counter. Nars and Shiseido.
This year there are a few brands which are on sale included both Shiseido, Cle De Peau, NARS, ZA, Ettusias, Aqualabel, Majolica Majorca, some hair products from Shiseido such as Tsubaki.
Technically, I ONLY wanted to re-stock my skincare but it wasn't as it planned though. =p
I had to apologized to everyone here for my negligence on my blog. I need to admit that I have no energy or discipline on putting myself into blogging after work. Bad me. I know. I actually have so many product reviews that I would love to share with you all. Hopefully I really get enough time to sit and blog about it. Thank goodness we now have other social platform such as Instagram and Facebook. That's my alternative way to stay touch with you'll beside this blog. So please add me if you haven't done so. =p I've been purchasing lots of things that I really wanted to share with you. But first of all, let me share with you my top 5 favorite products last month.
Spotted anything familiar?
Natural Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel
I read too many raves and reviews on this product. Remember I told you last month that Aloe Vera Gel works very well on my allergy and breakouts? Since then, I am on Aloe Vera product-craze. Lol! Apparently, this is the star product and must-have from Natural Republic. This jar is super huge that I guess it will take me years to finish it up. Since it's a multi - purpose gel, I used it as facial mask and treatment gel for sunburn and insects bite.
OMG! Times flies really fast that we're going to end the first quarter of 2013. It was like yesterday I celebrated Chinese New year. I'll foresee that I'll be incredibly busy this month as I am going to move house once again. :( *aggrhh*
I didn't managed to get good sleep for the past few weeks due to hectic life and house viewing process. And so, I suffered from a bad breakouts. So I resorted using products that are safe for my skin. Therefore, this products successfully made it to my top Favorite throughout the month of March and early April.
Looking at the picture, it looks so green isn't it? I'm all to go on natural this month.
Pull your seat belts and sit tight. You will have another adventure going for Slowbro's Beauty Box Series. Today featured Modbox Malaysia - March Edition. To celebrate the International Woman's Day on 8th March last month, Modbox is going back to basic where woman should pamper herself to look the best.
The pretty purple packaging underneath the sturdy purple box take my heart away. Did I mentioned to you that I really like their sturdy box material? It's similar to Fabulous Finds boxes except it's smaller.
I am pretty impressed with my Modbox last month. So I guess I do have a high expectation on this month too. This month box is a bit lighter than the previous one. Nevertheless, 4-5 sample product is still good.
I am back into my BB cream madness.
I guess you will be seeing me review a lot of BB Cream this year?? A lot of you
may have the thought that BB Cream clogged pores. In fact, yes it does clog my
pores as well. But I recently found a little trick on how to avoid this. I'll
share this skincare tip with you'll next time ok? Back to the topic, O'slee –
which is a famous skincare in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Os'lee HD Flawless
Rosehip BB Cream SPF26 PA++ gives you flawless nude make up instantly without
the help of a foundation, giving your skin translucent whiteness, and providing
easy coverage for your pores, dark circles, spots and acne marks. It is
extremely breathable, oil-free, dissolves in water, and does not clog
pores. O’slee BB Cream has
been verified by the SGS to provide SPF26 PA++ protection, and has passed heavy
metal safety tests, so you can rest assured of its safety.
The actual tube of O'slee BB Cream
is 50ml. But the one I received is 30ml which I think is a sample size. So I
wouldn't comment much on the packaging since the full size product and the one
I received it's different from the actual size. The one I had is a normal
squeeze tube with grey packaging.
Last week is the week where everyone of us received parcels from different courier services. I bet you all know it's the week where we will received our beauty box. Today beauty box series will be featuring Wonderbox Malaysia. I had a lot to say about this company this month. Read on to find out more interesting stories. Again some of you may ask what and how does this beauty box subscription works?? Every month, you need to pay a certain
subscription fee amount for a box which inclusive of 4 - 5 beauty
samples and products to deliver to your doorsteps.
This is the Wonderbox March Edition. One glance, the box look kinda empty and light. But small and light doesn't mean is not good right? Let's take a look of the productsI got.
Wild Ferns Kiwifruit Rejuvenating Hand Creme (Full Size)
One particular natural blush that make it to my January Favorite Product is this Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed. I bought this blush last year (yes, I have it with me very long :p ) after reading the raves through blogs early last year.
A long-wearing, supremely soft blush infused with Amazonian clay
harvested from the banks of the Amazon River and naturally baked by the
sun. This 12-hour blush universally
benefits all skin types for a fade-free, flawless finish in shades
ranging from soft to vivid and matte to shimmer to suit a wide variety
of skin tones. Amazonian clay minimizes oil
in and around pores to balance skin and keep product in place while
also hydrating the skin naturally to restore moisture, reducing the
appearance of dry, flaky skin. They are available in 12 different shades
I really like the overall packaging of the blush. It comes in a size if a compact case intact with a small round mirror in. So it makes it easier to carry around except I think they should include a brush as well. But not an issue for me as I usually carry a small brush with me.
The actual cases are the
same color as the blush inside, so you don't have to waste any time
digging through compacts to find them.
Have you ever thought of receiving a beauty bag instead of a beauty box? We've been going on the beauty box subscription craze for months and Bag Of Love is bringing us a little twist of surprise. Instead of the normal beauty box that we'll be receiving every month, we'll be getting a surprise in a bag instead. Isn't this a creative idea?
The Bag Of Love was delivered to me by courier using AirPack. This is the first time I encountered this courier company. So far no issue from me except....My box wasn't really in a good condition when it was delivered. The cute pink and white stripe box was a bit out of shape as below picture. I believe that the paper box material isn't sturdy enough to survive the rough delivery. :(
Inside the box, here comes a cute pink and black stripes fuchsia bag with the gold color logo of 'Bag Of Love'in front. I really like the pink bag because it's huge (which means I can put lots of stuff in) and quality is good. All the surprised was packaged bubble-wrap inside the makeup bag.
I've been using Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Cream almost everyday ever since I fall in love with it. So when Maybelline launched a BB cream in stick - BB stick, I couldn't resist bringing this home with me.
Clear Smooth BB Stick is a multi-benefit product that combines the
benefits of skin care, make-up, and sun block in a stick. It gives you the ultimate coverage in a soft smooth texture. It lets you stay shine-free for up to 12 hours! Dermatologically tested. Recommended for oily or combination skin. Suitable for sensitive and acne-prone skin.
Naruko is one of the highly raved skincare brand in Taiwan founded by Niu-Er Guru (Lao Shi) from Beauty Queen. This is my first facial mask from Naruko skincare line. Naruko Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Hydrating Mask is a part of the Rose & Snow Fungus collection which is suitable for dry and dull skin.
Naruko Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Hydrating Mask is a mask that can help
lock the moisture in to keep your face hydrated 24hours a day. It also
helps to brighten, soothe, and improve the skin's overall condition. Specially
made with CE booster to improve your skin's overall condition. It helps
with skin's absorbance, increases metabolism, and allows the skin to
quickly absorb Hyaluronic Acid, Snow Fungus Extract, and Allantoin. All
worked together to provide your skin with 24-hour moisture.
The packaging is pretty simple compare to other masks from Taiwan I have. The 25ml packaging itself is quite heavy as it seems to contain a lot of serum inside.
