Review: COCO BLANC AURA FOUNDATION STICK & CC PRESSED POWDER

Approximately months ago,  I was introduced by this new makeup brand called Coco Blanc. Apparently this brand was very famous in Thailand that most Thai bloggers raved about it especially the coverage. So I got my hands on two top products - Coco Blanc Aura Foundation Stick & Coco Blanc Aura CC Pressed Powder.

Isn't their white packaging look sleek and clean? I am actually quite intrigued about the Foundation Stick mainly because it comes in a very unique packaging similar to the new makeup stick that recently launched in Korea.

COCO BLANC AURA FOUNDATION STICK

They say:

[Review] Kiss Me Heroine Long & Curl Mascara Advanced Film

Hello ladies!! I’m back on my radar~ Haven’t been spending much time on composing a proper review on blog but today it’s going to be one of the few awesome products in my pipelines that I would love to share!

Eyes are the window to your soul. You can skip your eyeshadows but you can’t skip your eyeliner or your mascara! Because that’s make a very big difference on your daily presentations! XD

I’m on of those girls who is super lazy to put on eye makeup! The most I will have to do is my eyeshadow and my eyeliner. I dislike using mascara because I’m also too lazy to remove my mascara. (LOL!) It wasn’t easy to find one that could be removed easily, smudgeproof and waterproof so that you don’t look like a panda by the end of the day!

Last week I was introduced to this Kiss Me Heroine Long & Curl Mascara Advanced Film.  I’ve came across this mascara years ago and it is known to be one of top Japanese brand mascara till today. Did I tell you their eyeliner is one of my favorite liquid eyeliner since I started my blog 6 years ago? :D I really like Japanese brand mascara because they’re really good! Except, it was a pain to remove!

What's in My Makeup Bag?? (2015 Edition)

The last time I did a post about What's In My Makeup Bag was 2 years ago! That's was quite a while!! For the past few years, my life had typically changed. My day job requires me to travel locally as well as internationally. Therefore, I am very dependant on my makeup bag.

Today I am going to share with you my latest series of What's In My Makeup Bag - the one I use everyday.

Here's a little peek!

This time round I switched my makeup bag because my old one look very rusty and dirty! Haha XD I got this cute bag from a beauty bag subscription years ago and I have to say it put in good use now. But it's very roomy where I can place a lot of items in it.

What's inside?

The Confessions of A Makeupholic!

If you're here right now reading this blog, I'm sure you would know who's Rebecca (Becky) Bloomwood. The main character from the famous novel of Sophie Kinsella, The Shopaholic Series. Is that what came into your mind when you first saw the title above? *evil grin*

As a woman myself, I couldn't use enough words to express how I love Sophie Kinsella's novels! I started reading them since I was in high school and always wonder how could someone like Becky shopped! And you never know what is going to happen 10 years later where I'm turning into one!! (okay! I'm not that worst yet :p). Yes, I am a shopaholic now!

While I was away from my blogging break, my passion towards beauty/makeup doesn't stop there. So I spent more and more time on beauty sites. That's the moment when you start clicking into some e-commerce sites (eg: Sephora, Nordstorm, Beauty.com and etc) and unknowingly pilling up your cart/ shopping bag!

So today, I will be giving you girls some eye-candy!! The accumulated hauls I've done for the past few months when I was away. (BEWARE!)

MAC Look in a Box: All About Coral

It's been quite a while since I actually purchase something from MAC Cosmetics. The speed that MAC released their new collections is hard for me to keep up with! As far as I remembered they have Maleficient, Alluring Aquatic, Pedro Lourenco, Moody Bloom and Osbourne series. And that's quite a collection for me to look into within a one - two months. :(
My partner-in-crime was strolling around at Sephora in Singapore and spotted these items in the MAC counters. Immediately she whatapps-ed me and that sparkles my interest almost immediately because it was something that I have not heard or seen it anywhere. Not in the states as well. *rolled-eyes*

Apparently according to the SA, these are the limited edition 2014 exclusive boxed set, a few of them full-size items which are new, and a couple of hard-to-find limited edition shades from previous releases. O_o (Does that sounds tempting to you??)

My Favorite Blush Brush!

I bet everyone know that I love Blusher!! ♥♥ If you know not, head on to read my Blush Fiend post. And when you own a blusher, you need a makeup brush (practially blush brush)! Of course, if you're using cream or liquid blushers you may not need them. But, it does makes a big different using them with brushes! I dislike using finger because I find them really unhygenic.

So today I gonna share with you my favorite blush brush! And if you're a makeup beginner, this post is for you. I got a couple of questions from my readers asking me which are my favorite makeup brushes. I decided to share and split into different type of brushes and for today - blush brush.

Can you spot which brands are there? ^_^

The Collector: I'm a Blush Fiend

The last time I shared about my makeup-craze which is My Addiction was last year. Wow! That was quite a while because my collection has been growing ever since. This has been one of the 'most-requested-post' from everyone. It took me a while to brave myself to share you my blush collection. (*wink*)

As you can see, I am indeed a Blush Collector. Yes, a Blush Fiend indeed.

Blush has always been my favorite makeup product. Why? I highly think that their packaging and colors attracts me the most. I'm a sucker of pretty packaging. Aren't you? I actually had a few blushers that I left out from this pic. Sorry dude! You'll just stay in my makeup bag ok? Haha!

Over the left side of the picture above, you'll see blushers with amazingly pretty and cute packaging. This includes brands from Jill Stuart, Etude House, Physician Formula and Majolica Majorca.

Review: Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Cream

BB creams better known as Blemish Balm is pretty much the a product with all of foundation, concealer, moisturizer, primer and etc. I've stopped using BB creams for months because those BB creams I have in my stash tends to oxidize and turn greyish on me. It was a nightmare when I started realize it clogged my pores!! I decided to pick up this tube during Watsons sale. No harm trying this drugstore product right?

They say:

Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Cream 8-IN-1 Skin Transformer. Our instant skin perfecting Cream is a perfect blend of 8 minerals ingredients. Our unique shade instantly improves and perfects your skin:
  • Brigthens skin: visible whitening effect
  • Covers imperfections: reduces the appearance of pores, skin redness disappears
  • Moisturizes + Protects: all day hydration + helps to protect skin from UV rays and free radical
Packaging:

This BB cream comes in a little plastic green of 18ml tube. Seriously 18ml seems very little eh??
The tube comes with a twist-to-open cap and a small nozzle. The small nozzle helps to control the amount of product when you squeeze.

My Addiction

Before I started my beauty blog, I am a skincare freak. Which mean buying skincare and testing them out was my addiction. After several years, I am still a skincare freak but the frequency of me testing out new skincare items has been decreased. My addiction has gone further miles to makeup now.

I believe you girls who love makeup has something that you favorable most such as blusher, eyeliner or etc. So today I gonna show you my addiction or shall I say my beauty craze stash? =P

PENCIL EYELINERS
Pencil eyeliner is the first eyeliner I own just because it is easier to use. Back to basic, among all kind of liners, I still love pencil eyeliners the most. Why? Because it's travel friendly (as I just place it inside my handbag wherever I go), easier to work with - to draw my waterline. . So I just couldn't stop buying them!

I can ensure that I have more pencil eyeliners but I am not sure where did I placed them when I took this pic. =p

NEUTRAL/ BROWN EYESHADOW PALETTES

If you've been reading my blog, you must have knew that I LOVE neutral/brown eyeshadow very much. I do find that this warm color flatters me much than others. Thus, nothing could goes wrong with neutral color. Any occasion from job interview, meeting clients, dinner date, party at club it works well. :D You don't have to doubt that if I've seen a pretty nice brown color palette, I'll buy. Oh! I do have some brown singles as well.

Review: Bio-Essence Multi- Effect BB Cream

I used to be a BB cream lover but my complexion went really tan after a few exotic outdoors activities and sunburn. Since then, my skintone has been tan forever :( So I had to abandon all my BB creams and go on with foundation. Nevertheless, I love how awesome the BB cream look on me!! For me BB cream is a one step product that covers all your imperfection even if your skin are like the orange below. :p

Why BB Cream?

BB Creams stands for Blemish Balm Cream was initially prescribed by dermatologists to patients who had undergone laser skin treatments to soothe redness and cater to their sensitive skin. Most celebrities in Korea started using them to create a natural and dewy finish.

Recently, I received this Bio-Essence Multi-Effect BB cream for review purposes. I often learn the raves about Bio-Essence especially their face lifting cream and the 24K Bio-Gold eye products. As for BB cream, honestly I did not know they introduce BB cream until this product was sent to me. (I am such a ignorant girl) Bio-Essence has launched 3 different BB creams series: Aqua BB Cream (moisture); Bio Platinum BB cream (whitening) and the Bio Multi- effect BB Cream (Coverage).

Review & Swatches: NYX Nude on Nude Natural Look Kit

I'm all a neutral eyeshadow lover. Most of my eyeshadow palettes are neutral shades and I couldn't stop buying more. It's called addiction. :p When NYX are on their 20% sales months ago, I grabbed a chance to seize one of this and even bought an extra for my dear friend who's a makeup newbie.

The new NYX Nude on Nude Natural Look Kit when out of stock when I was trying to get it. Back then people does comment that it was a dupe for the infamous Urban Decay Naked Palette. I'll do a little comparison on that later on. Today, we gonna see how special is this kit compare to UD.

"An all-in-one nude on nude natural kit comes in a convenient case for easy and beautiful makeup application whether at home or jet-setting across the world! 9 eye shadows, 2 lip colors. Comes with applicators, mirror, and step by step instructions."

Review: Revlon Age Defying Spa Concealer

Remember my post about my October Favorites? I got a few review requests by my readers Eva and Suzanne on this!! One of my everyday-use concealer. Who doesn't want a perfect and flawless skin? Concealers usually do a good job of hiding blemishes by blending the imperfection into the surrounding skin tone. We can survive without a foundation base, but we couldn't survive without a good concealer. Agree or No? :)

Revlon Age Defying Spa Concealer instantly revitalizes and brightens the skin while protects against fine lines. The Stone Therapy minerals ingredient instantly energize stressed skin. Vitamin C fusion for brightens and antioxidants to help strengthen skin’s natural defense systems.

Review: EcoTools Bamboo 6 Piece Brush Set

I am very picky in choosing my makeup brushes. I like good quality brushes especially the synthetic ones. The touch of the brushes on your skin are very important especially when your skin are very sensitive. It makes me feel good when my brushes are gentle for my skin..Hehe XD

EcoTools is an earth friendly set of high quality cosmetic brushes. The really soft bristles are made of cruelty free hair and the handles are made of natural & recycled materials. Say yes to the Earth!  I got myself the EcoTools Bamboo 6 Piece Brush Set from drugstore.com during their 20% sales and I gonna say that I'm loving it!!

Review & Swatches: ELF Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil

I was browsing at the ELF website and I saw to this eyeliner. Colorful eyeliners for only one buck? I got tempted and bought 4 different shades of these eyeliners. Seriously I don't have high expectation on these as it only cost one dollar. But ELF may surprise us just like ELF studio line.

The ELF Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil are available in ELF website for 9 different shades. These liners are definitely metallic and gorgeous. They seems pretty pigmented and glides on and brighten the eyes with a pop of metallic color.
Top to Bottom: Plum Passion, Precious Pink, Boldly Bronze, Twinkle Teal
