Urban Decay Naked Palette vs. NYX Nude on Nude Natural Look Kit. Dupe?

I believe everyone knows how famous Urban Decay Naked Palette is. Till now, it still runs out of stock everywhere. Those that couldn't get a chance to snag them are out looking for dupes. I've reviewed both Urban Decay Naked Palette and NYX Nude on Nude Natural Look Kit previously. But does it par to a dupe?

I am not a UD lover, but as everyone knows UD Naked has been one of my favorite palette ever since I purchased them. And never did I regretted my choice. The problem is.....we need something friendly to our pocket and getting the same neutral colors!!

Urban Decay Naked:

Price: $40 (I think they increased the price for the new packaging with brush)
Packaging: 12 full size eyeshadow, double-ended 24/7 liner pencil, 1 travel size UDPP. The brown velvet packaging is attracting dust which is not good.

Texture & Pigmentation: I think the Urban Decay shadows feel a little smoother and look more intense on my skin even without the UDPP as base. The shadow definitely last longer on my lid before it creases and smudge. Definitely colors for sunny day and smokey night

Review: NYX Concealer in Jar (Beige)

Basically everyone is looking for a concealer that does the job! Besides concealing our flaws, dark eye circles and pimples, we want them to last on us till the end of the day. Basically you don't need to have hundreds of concealer in your drawer, one or two is enough for you.

Previously, I have reviewed the Revlon and ELF concealer. Today I gonna intro you any cheap and affordable brand, NYX Concealer in Jar. I believe most people must have heard of them and some raves and rants. And now I gonna share my point of view. 

Review & Swatches: NYX Nude on Nude Natural Look Kit

I'm all a neutral eyeshadow lover. Most of my eyeshadow palettes are neutral shades and I couldn't stop buying more. It's called addiction. :p When NYX are on their 20% sales months ago, I grabbed a chance to seize one of this and even bought an extra for my dear friend who's a makeup newbie.

The new NYX Nude on Nude Natural Look Kit when out of stock when I was trying to get it. Back then people does comment that it was a dupe for the infamous Urban Decay Naked Palette. I'll do a little comparison on that later on. Today, we gonna see how special is this kit compare to UD.

Review: NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette

NYX Cosmetics is well-known for their very affordable price and quality. When Non-PareilBoutique has 20% off storewide, I craved in and ordered the NYX new eyeshadow palette. There are two new collections for the NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette: The Runway Collection and For your eyes only. Mine is the NYX The Runway Collection in Jazz Night.

Here's the ingredients list:The eyeshadow palette comes with a big mirror and a small eyeshadow sponge. The mirror is huge for you to see your whole face not just your eyes. I found that the sponge is a dump as it is very rough. Here are the swatches:
My Say:
I'm very disappointed with this pallet. The color in the palette look very pigmented but not on my hand. The color consistency is quite different for each color. I found out that only 5 colors in the palette are quite pigmented and soft especially the blue. While the other colors was too blah and the texture is too rough. I personally tried the silver color (top) for smoky eyes, but the texture was too rough and the color fly-off everywhere on my lids which is too messy. Eww~~

The colors turn out great but it crease easily even with eyelid primer. It only lasted me about 3hours before it start to crease.

Overall:
I'm very disappointed. The palette is great when traveling if you can only take a small amount of makeup with you. But I'm definitely would not repurchase this palette. The single eyeshadow and trio palette works far better than this.

I heard NYX 10 Color for Smokey Eyes is far better than this. Shall give it a try soon. How's your experience with NYX eyeshadow?

My expiry hauls

I've not been updating my blog for a very long time. Sorry peeps, I'm not neglecting my blog but I had faced difficulty into combining the smillies icon into this blogger. It's sucks.

I've hauls a lot since my absence.

Here's my NYX haul. The seller has missed out my NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow and send me a round lipstick which I did not ordered. =( I got my first NYX Concealer Jar and NYX 10 Color Shadow Runway Collection. Now I'm tempted to get the NYX Smoky eyes palette.

My Beautymaker haul (Another 2 not in the pic). I'm in love with Kevin Beautymaker product ever since I've tried the makeup remover. My latest haul this month:
The new Coffret D'or Spring Collection!! After debating whether to get MAC eye palette, I finally laid my hands on these babies after a mere-chat with Chris. After getting my Jewelcious eyes palette myself, the bf got me the same palette to surprise me. I'm happy though but I don't need two of these. I'm thinking of selling it off. Would appreciate if someone could help me out. ^^ Besides of what you see, I got myself into MAC Spring Forecast Collection. The in-famous Blush Ombre in Ripe Peach has sold out in-store and online. I had no idea why did I get two of these. Impulse I guess? But it was the prettiest blush I ever had! Amazing blush I shall say as you can get like 4 different colors in 1 blush? Overall, I'm very happy with my hauls.

Reviews: NYX Round Lipstick & Swatches

I had some declaration to make. I never ever own a lipstick before. Surprised? Nay..I only started to play with makeup early of this year which make more sense on why I don't buy any lippies. To meI'm much prefer lipgloss for the everyday-school-look.

 But I've found my love on NYX products after getting my first NYX Round Lipstick in Circe. NYX Round Lipstick is a wonderful product!! It has a wide range of lipstick colors which I had a real trouble in choosing it. The lipsticks is creamy and easy to apply. The best part is the lipsticks is sooo affordable. For only US$1.29, I bought four colors from a spree: Jupiter, Tea Rose, Thalia, Summer Love.

I've taken tons of pictures and these are the nearest to the color in real life.
Jupiter are more towards purplish pink when applied on my lips. Tea Rose does not look like rose color at all. It is more like coral when applied on lips. The best I like among this are Thalia which brings out the natural lips color. I can see why is it the best selling colors. Lastly, Summer Love is a brownish nude color. (My bf hates it when I wear it. He said I look scary =.= )

Overall, this is a very good product. The texture of the lipstick is so smooth and creamy which makes it quite mosturising. Except the lipstick came with a weird smell but I'm not very sensitive with the smell. Therefore, it's okay for me. I definitely will repurchase more color of this lipstick in future.
