Review: COCO BLANC AURA FOUNDATION STICK & CC PRESSED POWDER

Approximately months ago,  I was introduced by this new makeup brand called Coco Blanc. Apparently this brand was very famous in Thailand that most Thai bloggers raved about it especially the coverage. So I got my hands on two top products - Coco Blanc Aura Foundation Stick & Coco Blanc Aura CC Pressed Powder.

Isn't their white packaging look sleek and clean? I am actually quite intrigued about the Foundation Stick mainly because it comes in a very unique packaging similar to the new makeup stick that recently launched in Korea.

iWhite Teeth Whitening Solutions - Review

Months ago I was introduced to a new home-care whitening kit, iWhite. Whilst I am not a someone who particularly into teeth whitening but this new whitening solution products intrigued me. Who doesn't like white teeth? :D

So the iWhite Teeth's Whitening Solutions consists of 3 different products - iWhite Instant Whitening Kit, iWhite Instant Whitening Toothpaste & iWhite Instant Whitening Mouthwash. I was told that these 3 products works very well together and it give you a better effect when you use the whitening kit. 

iWhite promises instant results and is peroxide free, using calcium based technology to strengthen teeth rather than peroxide which can be damaging. The iWhite kit contains 10 hygienically packaged tooth trays filled with a Film-Crystallised Calcium technology active gel (no hydrogen peroxide here), which aims to instantly whiten teeth by up to 8 shades, and can be used occasionally or on 5 consecutive days to remove stains and strengthen the upper and lower teeth. 

So I really hoping the iWhite Instant Whitening Solution would give me the lovely bright smile.

[Review] Kiss Me Heroine Long & Curl Mascara Advanced Film

Hello ladies!! I’m back on my radar~ Haven’t been spending much time on composing a proper review on blog but today it’s going to be one of the few awesome products in my pipelines that I would love to share!

Eyes are the window to your soul. You can skip your eyeshadows but you can’t skip your eyeliner or your mascara! Because that’s make a very big difference on your daily presentations! XD

I’m on of those girls who is super lazy to put on eye makeup! The most I will have to do is my eyeshadow and my eyeliner. I dislike using mascara because I’m also too lazy to remove my mascara. (LOL!) It wasn’t easy to find one that could be removed easily, smudgeproof and waterproof so that you don’t look like a panda by the end of the day!

Last week I was introduced to this Kiss Me Heroine Long & Curl Mascara Advanced Film.  I’ve came across this mascara years ago and it is known to be one of top Japanese brand mascara till today. Did I tell you their eyeliner is one of my favorite liquid eyeliner since I started my blog 6 years ago? :D I really like Japanese brand mascara because they’re really good! Except, it was a pain to remove!

Sephora is now available online!!

Being an avid online shopper and a beauty addict, I am always on the hunt for beauty deals! Be it online or offline, local or overseas. One of my happiest playground and most visited site - Sephora! It pretty sucks most of the time when I'm able to shop online at Sephora US but not locally~ :'(  Well, most of the time I have my friends in USA/ Canada to shop for me. (Don't get me into explaining those expensive shipping rates and taxes!)

Earlier in February 2016 we shoppers, were awarded with the greatest news of the year! For the first time ever Sephora is online in the region!! *jumping excitedly* That means I am now able to get the latest beauty deals 24/7 online! :D

Besides the convenience of shopping online, there're lots of bigger brands now available in Sephora Online! Eg: Nudestix, Becca Cosmetics, Marc Jacobs, Zoeva, NYX etc. If you're familiar with one of the best beauty e-commerce site - Luxola, yes they have been rebranded to Sephora. Therefore, most brands that used to be available in Luxola website are now available in Sephora Online too! Isn't that awesome?

In conjunction with the launch, Sephora SG sent me a care package which makes me super excited! It feels like Christmas all over again!

Say Hello to the first EVER powder lipstick in the world! *waves*  Or, the First Gradation Cushion Tint!!  :) Yes, I was quite intrigued with this product as I had never tried any form of lipstick/lip tint in powder or cushion! Good job for L’Oréal Paris for the latest innovation - Tint Caresse. In certain countries they called as Loreal Blossom Caresse Cushion Tint.  This product is meant to create the lips gradient look - a very popular lips trend in Asia. 

Today I am going to share with you L'Oreal Paris Tint Caresse in B03 Peach Blossom. I am very excited to try this out! Well, who doesn't want to know how this gradation cushion lip tint like? :)

Tips: How to depot your NARS

You heard it. It's all about NARS today. Everyone of us love NARS but I highly suggest that they gonna do something about their rubbery packaging. Because it practically melts and become really sticky and dirty due to our humid/hot climax in my country (practically in South East Asia). I got so mad and angry everytime I picked up the sticky packaging that I actually put it aside and not using them for a while.

My initial plan was to clean the packaging and yes, it turns out well. (I'll blog about how to clean it soon). Unfortunely, my butter fingers decided to kill my NARS and broke it of into two pieces. Oh yes, if you followed me in Instagram you'll see my horrified picture. I left no choice to fix it and depot them.

I'm glad that I've gotten my Z-palette last month from Shopping District. Now, it shall be my new home for my NARS. This depotting method will involved with heat due to the pot size and thick packaging. It's better to use heat for a bigger pan to avoid crack. I find this works very well for me which I would like to share with you. 

Sleek i-Divine Respect Palette

Hello Sleek Makeup! Sleek Makeup is one of the makeup brand that I really like. Why? Because they are famous with their quality. Some say it's equivalent to MAC at a very affordable price. Today I'm going to show you a recent palette I fall in love with Sleek i-Divine Respect Palette. This palette is part of the collaboration between london based fashion house PPQ and Sleek Make-up under Shangri-La collection. 

There are two palettes in the collection, but this Respect palette grabbed my attention. The Respect palette is a mixture of warm toned neutrals, plum and corals, hint of hot pinks in a mix of shimmer and matte shades. 

Don't you love the sleek packaging of the eyeshadow? =)

Beauty Box Series: The new Modbox!

It's been a while since I last update on Slowbro's Beauty Box Series. Among all the beauty box subscriptions in Malaysia, Modbox is one of my favorite. Unfortunately, they decided to stop all their subscriptions since April to enhance or revamp their box. I've been waiting for their re-launched ever since then and it's finally here! I'm so excited to see what's the surprise. Indeed it is!

Does it looks like a pizza box to you? In fact, it is - just a smaller version (probably a personal pan size?) The new packaging of Modbox is pretty small box if you compared to their previous purple box. I prefer their previous box though because I personally like to keep boxes. This is not bad though. Talk about recycle and eco - friendly now.

You must have wondering what's the surprise underneath the boxes and what's the different between the old and the new. 

Beauty Box Series: Modbox March Edition

Pull your seat belts and sit tight. You will have another adventure going for Slowbro's Beauty Box Series. Today featured Modbox Malaysia - March Edition. To celebrate the International Woman's Day on 8th March last month, Modbox is going back to basic where woman should pamper herself to look the best. 

The pretty purple packaging underneath the sturdy purple box take my heart away. Did I mentioned to you that I really like their sturdy box material? It's similar to Fabulous Finds boxes except it's smaller.

I am pretty impressed with my Modbox last month. So I guess I do have a high expectation on this month too. This month box is a bit lighter than the previous one. Nevertheless, 4-5 sample product is still good.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed

One particular natural blush that make it to my January Favorite Product is this Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed. I bought this blush last year (yes, I have it with me very long :p ) after reading the raves through blogs early last year.

Packaging:

I really like the overall packaging of the blush.  It comes in a size if a compact case intact with a small round mirror in. So it makes it easier to carry around except I think they should include a brush as well. But not an issue for me as I usually carry a small brush with me.

The actual cases are the same color as the blush inside, so you don't have to waste any time digging through compacts to find them. 

Beauty Box Series: The Bag Of Love!

Have you ever thought of receiving a beauty bag instead of a beauty box? We've been going on the beauty box subscription craze for months and Bag Of Love is bringing us a little twist of surprise. Instead of the normal beauty box that we'll be receiving every month, we'll be getting a surprise in a bag instead. Isn't this a creative idea?

The Bag Of Love was delivered to me by courier using AirPack. This is the first time I encountered this courier company. So far no issue from me except....My box wasn't really in a good condition when it was delivered. The cute pink and white stripe box was a bit out of shape as below picture. I believe that the paper box material isn't sturdy enough to survive the rough delivery. :(

Inside the box, here comes a cute pink and black stripes fuchsia bag with the gold color logo of  'Bag Of Love' in front. I really like the pink bag because it's huge (which means I can put lots of stuff in) and quality is good. All the surprised was packaged bubble-wrap inside the makeup bag.

Review: Naruko Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Hydrating Mask

Naruko is one of the highly raved skincare brand in Taiwan founded by Niu-Er Guru (Lao Shi)  from Beauty Queen. This is my first facial mask from Naruko skincare line. Naruko Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Hydrating Mask is a part of the Rose & Snow Fungus collection which is suitable for dry and dull skin.

They say:

The packaging is pretty simple compare to other masks from Taiwan I have. The 25ml packaging itself is quite heavy as it seems to contain a lot of serum inside. 

Beauty Box Series - Modbox Malaysia

What!?!? Another beauty box subscription again? We have so many beauty box companies now in Malaysia market. It seems a bit tough for us to actually choose which one to subscribe. Fret not! Today I gonna show you this new beauty box that caught my heart - MODBOX. This is my first box from Modbox and I am telling you now that I love it!

It comes in a sturdy purple box with the logo 'Modbox' in the middle. The box is really sturdy and heavy. Me likey!!

Review & Swatches: Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow

I was browsing around Watsons last few weeks and something caught my eyes. The Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hours Cream Gel Shadow from their Eyestudio collection finally hit the shores. I'm so excited that I just wanted to lug all of them back home. 

I've been reading a lot of raves about this in states and here we are! The Color Tattoo eyeshadows claim to be smudge-proof, crease-proof and wear for 24 hours. I don't remember that I need to wear makeups for 24 hours but you never know. I bet these may come very useful for flight attendant or if you need to travel for 23 hours?? O_o

Much as some say this maybe a dupe of the infamous MAC Paint Pots or even MUFE Aqua Cream Shadow. Probably because their packaging were in a jar and the texture are creamy. Although there have 10 different colors available in States, but I am glad they did bring it as much as 8 colors here which consists of neutrals/brights and matte/frost.

Review: Koji Dolly Wink Eyelashes No.1 (Dolly Sweet)

When you see the title you know what it is about. It is one of the most reviewed false eyelashes till date when you Google it. And I am the no.123456 blogger who actually going to share my thought on this. This Koji Dolly Wink Eye Lashes No.1 (Dolly Sweet) is my second box from Dolly Wink. My first one was the Dolly Wink Limited Edition Eyelash Set that I reviewed last year. 

Ever since then, I am hooked with their products!! Dolly Wink is a brand produced by the Japanese famous Popteen Gyaru Model - Tsubasa Masuwaka. Look at her tiny size and how cute she is, you'll never believe she's a mother. o_o

I really like the packaging of the Dolly Wink eyelashes. Thumbs up for Tsubasa and the company for putting extra effort on it. (But their latest packaging had changed and look simple though). 

One package only comes with 2 sets of upper lashes and one tiny cute pink polka dots eyelash glue. At the first glance, you'll find the lashes are soooo long. The lash strips are very long that I had to trim a huge section to match my eyes. 

Despite of how long it is, the lashes definitely works very well for gyaru style because they emphasize towards the outer corner of the eyes. This is how it looks on Tsubasa Masuwaka. Isn't her eyes look beautiful?? Look at how the lashes winged up at the corner of her eyes.

Their lash band is quite thin and moderately soft so it is very easy for you to stick it on! I love those lash band which is clear because I don't have to draw a line over the lash band so it couldn't be seen. I do that with other false lashes brand I had but definitely not this! 

The lashes are light-weighted and very comfortable to wear on. I wore for almost 8 hours and I felt like nothing at all~~  And this is how it actually look on my eyes!! ^_^

Dollywink No.1 (Upper Lashes) & Dollywink No.6 (Lower lashes)

Isn't it pretty?? =) I like how most of the Dollywink eyelashes make my inner double eyelid more prominent. The lashes does look very long and a bit dramatic from near. But it does look quite natural from further view. One thing about the lashes, it look really pretty in photos. ^_^

I won't recommend this for everyday use but this Dolly Wink Eyelashes in No.1 (Dolly Sweet) would be good for events, dinners, parties and etc. I wore this to the Elevate Event and here's my FOTD.

Although the price of Dolly Wink eyelashes is a bit steep for 2 pairs, but it is definitely worth the price you paid for. It is one of the best drugstore false eyelashes in terms of quality. It can last you numbers of wear provided you take a good care of them. Even if you don't, I believe it can last you for at least 3-4 times. 

Dolly Wink Eyelashes No.1 (Dolly Sweet) can be found in retail Sasa store for RM55.90/box. (USD13). You can also get them at Supermodel's Secret at RM50/box only. ^_^

Facial Review: Cres Wellness Time-release AquaCell Yoga Visage Therapy

The best therapy for woman to de-stress is definitely going into facial and spa. Ever since I started my current job, I spent most of my time dedicated to my job and hence jeopardizing my once-upon-a-time beautiful and young face. Lol!
