Review: Juju AquaMoist Pure 100H Essence

I guess everyone here knew about the Juju Aquamoist - The Asia No. 1 Japan skincare series which contained Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid is in a big hype nowadays ever since their hydrating properties had been recognized. Approximately 2 months ago, I was given the one of the most popular items of JUJU AQUAMOIST series for review purposes.

    The best selling item
Juju AquaMoist Pure 100H Essence. Juju AquaMoist Pure 100H Essence contained 100% pure Hyaluronan/ Hyaluronic Acid which is a real good deal for hydration purposes.
Some said that it works like a facial mask during the night that creates a thin moisturizing layer to your skin to prevent from the dehydration and helps your skin’s healthy turnover which you can tell the difference the next morning! Sounds awesome?

Review: Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Cream

It has been weeks since I did a skincare review. Sorry for being MIA, I’ve moved to the new place currently and it was a hassle for me to pack and travel around. Back to the topic, despite being super busy my skin had became very dehydrated and bad. And here come my another rescue. The Hada Labo SHA Moisturizing Cream.
" This new addition that comes in a light and non-greasy texture effectively infuses the skin with continuous hydration and moisture, giving it immediate relief and comfort. The specially formulated moisturizing cream which is boosted by Hyaluronic Acid and Super Hyaluronic Acid helps soften the epidermis and increases the duration of hydration by restoring the skin’s natural barrier to prevent moisture loss. "

As we always heard, hyaluronic acid is always best in hydrating. But a hydration cream? Let's see how do I find it.

Review: Hada Labo AHA/BHA Face Wash

You've heard about how I like Rohto Mentholatum Hada Labo skincare products. Today I gonna review one of the highly raved product - Hada Labo AHA/BHA Face wash.

I've been using this products for more than 2 months and now it's time for me to review it.Inspired by the smoothness and delicateness of an unshelled egg, this "eggquisite" cleanser contains Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) and Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) to give clarity, brightness and promote skin cell renewal by preventing dead skin cell buildup. The gentle cleanser lathers into a fine, velvety foam to prevent blemishes and polishes away dullness for a renewed skin every day. [Source: Hada Labo]

    Review: Neutrogena Deep Cleansing Lotion

How many of you have actually practices the double cleansing concept everyday? Double cleansing means that you clean your skin twice. The first time to remove makeup and the second with your normal facial wash. I was taught by my beautician that this may helps improve your skin condition and prevent clogged pores.
Today I gonna review my current staple skincare product. The Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Lotion. I've been using cleansing lotion to double cleanse my face instead of cleansing oil as I found cleansing oil clogged my pores. (I guess is just for me)
I was first introduced by Chris to this product and was quite skeptical about it. But it turns out much more better than I expected. Let's see how.

Review: Cellnique Paramedical Intensive Hydrating Complex

Are there times when you feel your skin is dry during winter/summer? How do you know when your skin is dry/de-hydrated?

    Dry skin appears when:
    - A feeling of skin tightness, especially after showering/ washing face
    - A loss of plumplness - skin will appears shrunken or dehydrated
    - Slight to severe flaking, scaling or peeling
    - Skin is dull in appearance
    - Severe redness, inflamed areas in the skin
    - Normal fine lines or wrinkles in skin will be more visible

Cellnique has send me a product weeks ago to rescue my problems above. Cellnique Paramadical Intensive Hydrating Complex is one of the star products for dehydrated skin. Let's see how it works for me.
Cellnique Intensive Hydrating Complex, a lightweight formulation with high concentration of Hyaluronic Acid and Essential Amino Acids. Helps bind moisture to restore elasticity of the skin. It thereby minimizes the appearance of wrinkles and helps deliver an instant supple and smooth skin. [Source: Cellnique.com]

    Ingredients:
As you noticed this product comes with a high concentration of Hyaluronic Acid and Essential Amino Acids. We all know that Hyaluronic Acid is good for hydrating and locks moisture. How about Amino Acids? It was known to help improve skin that has been scarred, filling lines (aging), smoothing and improving skin tone and color. It can also improve skin’s ability to stay hydrated, thus providing the surface of your skin with a smoother appearance. Wow? It sounds too good isn't it?

Directions: It stated that we need to use 6 drops into our face immediately after cleansing and toning. But 6 drops is too much for me, I think 3- 4 drops will be sufficient enough. It can be used on eyes area too and I found it more effective using for my eyes. (Maybe my eyes are too dry)
Packaging: The serum comes in a 30ml bottle with a dropper (it reminds me of my experiment in science lab during school days) that helps to control the amount of the product use. I personally feel its quite hygenic if you don't touch the tip.The hydrating complex works like a serum with hydrating properties. The crystal clear serum are fragrant-less and the texture is very light and watery. Once applied, spread on your palm and start massage on your face. During the process, I encountered some stickiness. But when it dries, the stickiness went off leaving my skin so smooth.

    Reviews:

I've been using this serum for about 1 month. What I can say is that this product does keep my skin hydrated and firm during the past month. My face are quite hydrated because of the Hada Labo, therefore I don't really noticed the significant results but it definitely helps reducing my fine lines on my eyes area. Besides, it brightens my skin and keep my skin glowy all the time.
Here's some picture before and after:
It's not very obvious here but it definitely reduce my fine lines. I'll try to upload a better photo. :)

    Rating : 4/5

For those who has a very dry/ de-hydrated skin, I would definitely recommend you to try this. The only cons I found is that the price is quite steep RM189/ USD61 for 30ml. But don't frown yet. :D

For those who wouldn't want to fork out so much yet want to know its effectiveness, Cellnique is very generous in offering free samples of Intensive Hydrating Complex, 3ml to all of you. First 50 people who email them your full name, mailing/shipping address to fbfreesample@cellnique.com with the subject 'FB Cynthia' will get a free sample.
    Have fun!

Review: Mandom Cleansing Express Eye Makeup Remover

I've came to a discussion with Blair previously about eye makeup remover right after I did my review on Beautymaker Eye Makeup remover. Everyone of us have been searching on the best or HG eye makeup remover. Here I found one drugstore version that I would like to share with everyone.
The Mandom Cleansing Express Eye Makeup Remover is an eye make-up cleanser containing deep sea water and vitamin B & E (moisture retentive ingredients) which is gentle on eyes and non-sticky. This is the first time I tried water-based makeup remover. Can a water-based removes eye makeup effectively as oil-based? Let's see. This is a double-phrase eye makeup remover which contains double effect of water and oil layer. The substances almost the same like Lancome Bi-Facil. To maximize its performance, you'll have to shake the bottle to mix the substances together. After shaking, soak a cotton pad with the eye makeup remover and push it on the eyes. Within 10 seconds, my eye makeup was dissolved! After a few rub with the cotton, my eyes left clean with no trace. The best part is when I tried to remove the eyeliner on my waterline, it did not sting my eyes at all!! And I'm wearing a contact lenses with me.

The makeup remover does goes into my eyes a bit but it felt just like water. So fresh~~ Its so gentle on your eye but yet works like a dream! Sometime if you did not remove your eye makeup thorougly, it will left some residue and make your undereyes looking black like panda. But with this, it doesn't have any trace of blackness.

My entire eyes area were so clean and the process to remove the makeup was so quick. I was so amazed with this!

The part that I always bother is the oily feeling that eye makeup remover does. Amazingly, this is the only eye makeup remover I've tried so far that could remove my makeup so clean, without feeling oily! This so far has been one of the best drugstore makeup remover ever! I find that this is better than Maybelline's.

    Rating: 4.9/5 Almost HG!! ♥♥

With an effortless removing process and gentle on the eyes it's definitely worth a try! The price is about RM25.90 for 125ml in Watson is definitely affordable. I recommend you girls to try it and let me know how it works for you.

Review: Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion

When this product first came to Malaysia, I was tempted by their advertisement especially when this product is a major hit in Japan, selling one every 4 seconds since its launched. eek

The star product Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Lotion contains advanced skin hydrating ingredient- the Super Hyaluronic Acid, with twice the moisture retention capacity of Hyaluronic Acid (1gm of Hyaluronic Acid is able to hold up 6 litres of water). Amazing isn't it?

You must be wondering what is this 'lotion' for? In Japan, this as the second step in their skincare routine which we called as toner. Hada Labo contains no additives, colorants, fragrance or mineral oil which can be use on sensitive skin. The packaging of the product is simple. The nozzle on top control the amount of product you use.

The lotion is colorless and fragrant-fee. You may feel more like water in your hand. As you can see in the pic the lotion is very watery, therefore a few drops is more than enough for your whole face. What I do is apply an appropriate amount of the lotion on my palm, rub it with my both hands and start patting it on my skin.

Pat until the product dry into your skin. Do beware it takes a moment for you to pat and pat on your skin. So this product is not suitable when you're on hurry. While patting, I do encounter some stickiness on my skin. But once it absorb into my skin, the stickiness went off leaving my skin feel soft and hydrated.

My skin looking glowy and hydrated on the right pic isn't it? This lotion helps to keep my skin hydrated and even reduced my clogged pores. The bottle I'm using now is almost finish. razz

    Rating: 4/5

Overall, this is a good product I would recommend to all of you if you want to keep your skin hydrated. With the affordable price and result, now you see why it is sold every 4 seconds in Japan. This product is widely available in Guardian now.

Product Review: Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Peeling Gel

Do you exfoliate your face weekly to remove the dead skin cells? Yes I do and here I found one of the most expensive scrub in my stash.

The Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Peeling Gel by Amore Pacific is a gentle peeling scrub that exfoliates dead skin cells to reveal radiant skin.
Strawberry is a natural occuring alpha hydroxy acid. It sloughs off dead skin cells, especially on dry skin that tends to clog pores, causing dull skin and breakouts. New and improved version contains Yogurt Extract. Soft gel formula does not irritate skin. Non abrasive and suitable for all skin types. [Written on the box]
The pinky packaging look so cute and girly. If you love Strawberry, you will love this too. It has a slight smell of strawberry but not sweet and yummy enough. (Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Pack smell soo yummy~~ ♥) It come with 150ml which is a very big tube that can last you very long. (The picture above is sample size pic)
The texture is slightly watery when you squeeze out from the tube, therefore you gonna be extra careful on squeeze out too much product. And you only need a small amount of it to exfoliate your whole face. Did you see the little pink dot there? It is known as the strawberry particles that helps exfoliate your skin.

Massage the scrub gently on your skin until you see flakes appear. The flakes helps to take away the dead skin cells. Then rinse off with lukewarm water and you will instantly feel your skin as soft as baby skin. Honestly!

    Rating: 4.8/5

I have a very sensitive and acne-prone skin. This product doesn't break me out or too harsh for me. Overall, it is a very good product! But the price is the only drawback. This product cost about RM80 per tube. eek I would really recommend this for those who have sensitive skin like me and of course have extra $$ to splurge on.

Any of you have found your best scrub or exfoliate? Do share. razz

    Reviews: BeautyMaker Eye Makeup remover

Finding an eye makeup remover without stringing eyes is tough especially for those who wear contact lenses like me. But I've found one that is too good to be ♥! Let's see how it works:

The Kevin Beautymaker eye makeup remover has been one of the best selling product in Taiwan.

    The packaging:

This makeup remover only contains of 100ml which I personally felt it was quite small. As I use quite a lot. cool You'll have to shake the bottle to mix the two substances together for it to work its magic on your eye makeup.

    The ingredients: (Like picture below)
The cucumber extract and Witch Hazel is what I like about this makeup remover. The ingredients seems so gentle for our sensitive eyes which is a A plus. ^^

    The reviews:

I was quite afraid that this eye makeup remover may disappoint me like others. Therefore, I've tried this with my MM mascara and my Kiss Me liquid eyeliner which are hard to remove. By using cotton pad and push it on the eyes for 10seconds, all the eye makeup was dissolved. After a few rub with the cotton, my eyes left clean with no trace at all. Here's the pic:
The best part is even with eyeliner on your waterline, it never smudge and sting my eyes even a bit!! ♥♥ Even with my contact lenses on while removing the makeup, you felt nothing about it. It does not make you feel uncomfortable. This eye makeup remover amazed me by removing my eye makeup and of course the mascara effortless and faster.

The only thing that I bother is the oily feeling. But comparing to Maybelline or Elianto, it was much better as the oily part will subside in a few minutes. This is the best ever eye makeup remover I had ever used. No doubt that this was a hot product in Taiwan. For a gentle, effortless and hassle-free eye makeup remover, I definitely recommended this to everyone!

    Rating: 4.8/5 LOVE!! ♥♥
