[Review] Kiss Me Heroine Long & Curl Mascara Advanced Film

Hello ladies!! I’m back on my radar~ Haven’t been spending much time on composing a proper review on blog but today it’s going to be one of the few awesome products in my pipelines that I would love to share!

Eyes are the window to your soul. You can skip your eyeshadows but you can’t skip your eyeliner or your mascara! Because that’s make a very big difference on your daily presentations! XD

I’m on of those girls who is super lazy to put on eye makeup! The most I will have to do is my eyeshadow and my eyeliner. I dislike using mascara because I’m also too lazy to remove my mascara. (LOL!) It wasn’t easy to find one that could be removed easily, smudgeproof and waterproof so that you don’t look like a panda by the end of the day!

Last week I was introduced to this Kiss Me Heroine Long & Curl Mascara Advanced Film.  I’ve came across this mascara years ago and it is known to be one of top Japanese brand mascara till today. Did I tell you their eyeliner is one of my favorite liquid eyeliner since I started my blog 6 years ago? :D I really like Japanese brand mascara because they’re really good! Except, it was a pain to remove!

Review & Swatches: Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow

I was browsing around Watsons last few weeks and something caught my eyes. The Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hours Cream Gel Shadow from their Eyestudio collection finally hit the shores. I'm so excited that I just wanted to lug all of them back home.

I've been reading a lot of raves about this in states and here we are! The Color Tattoo eyeshadows claim to be smudge-proof, crease-proof and wear for 24 hours. I don't remember that I need to wear makeups for 24 hours but you never know. I bet these may come very useful for flight attendant or if you need to travel for 23 hours?? O_o

Much as some say this maybe a dupe of the infamous MAC Paint Pots or even MUFE Aqua Cream Shadow. Probably because their packaging were in a jar and the texture are creamy. Although there have 10 different colors available in States, but I am glad they did bring it as much as 8 colors here which consists of neutrals/brights and matte/frost.

Here's the close-up of the shades:

Review: ELF Studio Cream Eyeshadow in Eggplant

ELF (Eyes Lips Face) is one of my favorite budget- cosmetic products. Their Studio Line products has been a hype in the blogging world. I never really into eyeshadow products, but I bought this ELF Studio Cream Eyeshadow quite long ago after reading lots of raves online.

They says:
" Line, shade and contour your eyes with this ultra pigmented and creaseless cream shadow. Easy to blend for layering and building color. The silky smooth and smudge-proof formula provides long lasting color for a beautiful look all day. "

My Addiction

Before I started my beauty blog, I am a skincare freak. Which mean buying skincare and testing them out was my addiction. After several years, I am still a skincare freak but the frequency of me testing out new skincare items has been decreased. My addiction has gone further miles to makeup now.

I believe you girls who love makeup has something that you favorable most such as blusher, eyeliner or etc. So today I gonna show you my addiction or shall I say my beauty craze stash? =P

PENCIL EYELINERS
Pencil eyeliner is the first eyeliner I own just because it is easier to use. Back to basic, among all kind of liners, I still love pencil eyeliners the most. Why? Because it's travel friendly (as I just place it inside my handbag wherever I go), easier to work with - to draw my waterline. . So I just couldn't stop buying them!

I can ensure that I have more pencil eyeliners but I am not sure where did I placed them when I took this pic. =p

NEUTRAL/ BROWN EYESHADOW PALETTES

If you've been reading my blog, you must have knew that I LOVE neutral/brown eyeshadow very much. I do find that this warm color flatters me much than others. Thus, nothing could goes wrong with neutral color. Any occasion from job interview, meeting clients, dinner date, party at club it works well. :D You don't have to doubt that if I've seen a pretty nice brown color palette, I'll buy. Oh! I do have some brown singles as well.

Review: ES Fake Eyelashes from KK Centerhk

Fake eyelashes are always the best tool to make your eyes look bigger and feel like a doll. I don't usually use false lashes for daily makeup but for photoshoot and dinner, it is a must! I am quite fussy in term of the quality of fake lashes especially the band. Those fake lashes with rough and thick band are a NO-NO for me. So when KKCenterhk sent me a box of fake lashes, without a thought I picked up the fabulous fake lashes brand.
ES are well-known of their soft band fake lashes and it was made in Korea. ^_^ I actually chose ES A166 10 Pairs Black Luxuriant False Eyelashes. (Don't ask why I chose this)

One box comes with 10 pairs of fake eyelashes. Estimated for one pair that could last you around 3-4 wears which means you could wear up to 30-40 times with these lashes. I find this pretty affordable and good for it priceof US$14.22.

Review & Swatches: Sleek i-Divine Palette in Bad Girl

Remember my previous post on Sleek palette in Original and blushers? I am officially a huge fan of Sleek Makeup now. Today I gonna review Sleek Palette in Bad Girl which is part of their permanent line. So no worry of not getting them on.

The box packaging of Bad Girl palette is different from the normal box. I kinda like this design as it is very suitable for the 'bad girl' look.

They say:

"Bad girl contains strong and deep shades which allow one to uncover their hidden fantasies. This palette can be extreme, powerful, confident as well as sensual."

Each palette contains 12 pressed mineral eyeshadows. And they're all pretty vibrant!

If you've followed me on my Facebook, you must have seen this review coming up. So, I'm invited to participate on Ginvera blogger's challenge again. The brand has been around in the market for years. Bad gal :p So I was so happy when Ginvera send me the famous two products of Ginvera to review.

The Ginvera Green Tea Whitening Marvel Gel and Green Tea Jade Dark Eye Circles Roll Away are one of the best seling item from Ginvera Green Tea Skincare. Review: Revlon Age Defying Spa Concealer

Remember my post about my October Favorites? I got a few review requests by my readers Eva and Suzanne on this!! One of my everyday-use concealer. Who doesn't want a perfect and flawless skin? Concealers usually do a good job of hiding blemishes by blending the imperfection into the surrounding skin tone. We can survive without a foundation base, but we couldn't survive without a good concealer. Agree or No? :)

Revlon Age Defying Spa Concealer instantly revitalizes and brightens the skin while protects against fine lines. The Stone Therapy minerals ingredient instantly energize stressed skin. Vitamin C fusion for brightens and antioxidants to help strengthen skin’s natural defense systems.

Review: Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara

If you've been using mascara any now and then, you must have heard about this Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara. It's one of the most talked and highly raved drugstore mascara. I know I'm a bit slow in catching up to this baby, because Covergirl is not available in Malaysia which is part of the very sad news. sadCovergirl Lash Blast Mascara patented volume-boosting formula and patent-pending brush are designed to max-out each and every lash, leaving you with the ultimate big lash look.

Packaging:This mascara comes with a fat orange tube which is a bit bulky and the handle too. The applicator is a bit large and hard to work with. It does take a few applications to get used to it. But there's something about the brush...
Cover Girl Lash Blast differ from the traditional bristle brush standard and uses a spiky rubber bristled brush instead. The brush is so huge which is about twice the normal size of a brush. While applying it, you have to be very careful in case that spiky applicator poke your eyes. I did once and it hurts.. sadFormula:
I got this mascara in Very Black. The formula is quite thick which is good for volumizing and lengthen my lashes. Most people said it may clumps but if only you used a lot. Just apply a sufficient amount and your lashes will look long and volume.

Reviews:
Granted that my lashes are naturally short, this mascara curl and lengthen my lashes very well. I also liked how it didn't weigh my lashes down despite it being quite thick. Besides, it seperates my lashes very well.

Here's some pics for your judgment:
One coat of this mascara:
(My lashes finally appear)Second coats of this mascara:
(It defines and lengthens my lashes nicely)3rd coats of this mascara:
How do you think of it?

I love how my lashes look very natural with this. Most mascara tends to clump but not this. This is the best mascara to use if you're in hurry and does not want to look over-makeup.smile

The one I have now is non-waterproof but yet, it is smudgeproof. It can last me for more than 8hours in office without smearing.Besides, this mascara are easily to remove with any makeup remover. Hassle-free for busy and tired working woman. :P And the mascara doesn't leaves any flakes and trace on your eyes after removing which is good.

Rating: 4/5

Personally, I love this!! Despite of its bulky size and brush, this one is good enough. I would recommend this mascara for a natural everyday wear.

Since this is not available in Malaysia, I purchased this product from drugstore.com less than US$7 during sales. Alternatively, you can purchase it from spree in LYN.

Review: Mandom Cleansing Express Eye Makeup Remover

I've came to a discussion with Blair previously about eye makeup remover right after I did my review on Beautymaker Eye Makeup remover. Everyone of us have been searching on the best or HG eye makeup remover. Here I found one drugstore version that I would like to share with everyone.
The Mandom Cleansing Express Eye Makeup Remover is an eye make-up cleanser containing deep sea water and vitamin B & E (moisture retentive ingredients) which is gentle on eyes and non-sticky. This is the first time I tried water-based makeup remover. Can a water-based removes eye makeup effectively as oil-based? Let's see. This is a double-phrase eye makeup remover which contains double effect of water and oil layer. The substances almost the same like Lancome Bi-Facil. To maximize its performance, you'll have to shake the bottle to mix the substances together. After shaking, soak a cotton pad with the eye makeup remover and push it on the eyes. Within 10 seconds, my eye makeup was dissolved! After a few rub with the cotton, my eyes left clean with no trace. The best part is when I tried to remove the eyeliner on my waterline, it did not sting my eyes at all!! And I'm wearing a contact lenses with me.

The makeup remover does goes into my eyes a bit but it felt just like water. So fresh~~ Its so gentle on your eye but yet works like a dream! Sometime if you did not remove your eye makeup thorougly, it will left some residue and make your undereyes looking black like panda. But with this, it doesn't have any trace of blackness.

My entire eyes area were so clean and the process to remove the makeup was so quick. I was so amazed with this!

The part that I always bother is the oily feeling that eye makeup remover does. Amazingly, this is the only eye makeup remover I've tried so far that could remove my makeup so clean, without feeling oily! This so far has been one of the best drugstore makeup remover ever! I find that this is better than Maybelline's.

Rating: 4.9/5 Almost HG!! ♥♥

With an effortless removing process and gentle on the eyes it's definitely worth a try! The price is about RM25.90 for 125ml in Watson is definitely affordable. I recommend you girls to try it and let me know how it works for you.

Review: ELF Mineral Eyeshadow Primer

Ever since I've been addicted to cosmetic, there's always one product I want. An eye primer. Previously I've bought the ELF eye primer, but there came in the highly raved and cheap eye primer the ELF Mineral Eyeshadow Primer.

The best part of this is no paraben. Which is really good. I love how it has vitamin E oil in it and nothing I'm allergic too. (I had sensitive skin and tends to allergy to mineral - but this doesn't breaks me out)

The packaging come with a normal lip-gloss like and a brush applicator.

ELF Mineral Eyeshadow Primer is said to be sheer but I don't think is sheer due to its creamy texture. The creamy texture dries quickly and absorb into your skin leaving it smooth and ready for eye makeup application. I do not own a UDPP, therefore I can't compare with it. But many bloggers out there had raved this primer equivalent with UDPP. Not sure how true it is, but after all this ELF Primer only cost you US$3. Why not have a try?

Here's the comparison on my hand with and without the eyeshadow primer. From the picture, it does make my eyeshadow color more vibrant on its own. Besides, it makes my eyeshadow easier to blend with/apply (even cream and powder eyeshadow).

What we care most about eye primer is the power of long lasting and crease-free. Here I experimented it under the tap water. (I know it is not waterproof, just in case if we were under the rain/cry/sweat :p ).

After rubbing it for 3 times under the water, here's the result:
(Although is not really waterproof, but we can see with ELF primer the eyeshadow crease-less :) )

Seriously, this eyeshadow primer prevents my eyeshadow from creasing or fading all day (even the NYX jumbo eye pencils- which crease really badly).

Lasting power? It does last for at least 12 hours (I normal eyeshadow start crease on me after 5-6hours). For the price of US$3, this primer is definitely works great and amazing!! razz

Rating: 4.8/5

For the price, it's a steal! With the same product functions with UDPP, ELF primer is so much cheaper, so it's perfect for everyday/work wear. It definitely an alternative for those who doesn't want to fork out so much for an eye primer. This worth a try! Once I finish mine, I'll definitely re-purchase it.

Review: NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette

NYX Cosmetics is well-known for their very affordable price and quality. When Non-PareilBoutique has 20% off storewide, I craved in and ordered the NYX new eyeshadow palette. There are two new collections for the NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette: The Runway Collection and For your eyes only. Mine is the NYX The Runway Collection in Jazz Night.

The classic packaging:
Here's the ingredients list:The eyeshadow palette comes with a big mirror and a small eyeshadow sponge. The mirror is huge for you to see your whole face not just your eyes. I found that the sponge is a dump as it is very rough. Here are the swatches:
My Say:
I'm very disappointed with this pallet. The color in the palette look very pigmented but not on my hand. The color consistency is quite different for each color. I found out that only 5 colors in the palette are quite pigmented and soft especially the blue. While the other colors was too blah and the texture is too rough. I personally tried the silver color (top) for smoky eyes, but the texture was too rough and the color fly-off everywhere on my lids which is too messy. Eww~~

Here's my EOTD:
(I only use the 3 colors)
The colors turn out great but it crease easily even with eyelid primer. It only lasted me about 3hours before it start to crease.

Overall:
I'm very disappointed. The palette is great when traveling if you can only take a small amount of makeup with you. But I'm definitely would not repurchase this palette. The single eyeshadow and trio palette works far better than this.

I heard NYX 10 Color for Smokey Eyes is far better than this. Shall give it a try soon. How's your experience with NYX eyeshadow?
