Hauls: NARS & Shiseido Private Sale 2013

I couldn't remember when was the last time I braved myself to a warehouse sale. Going into a warehouse sale is like going to a battlefield. Haha!! (Does that remind you of Estee Lauder Sales?) Last week there was Shiseido Private Sale. I'd actually shared my 'little' hauls (not little I know =p) from the sale though my Instagram earlier. Do follow me if you haven't.

I have to declare this again. I am a loyal Shiseido White Lucent user. I have yet to find any whitening products that work far better than this. As a cheapskate me, I only re-stocked my skincare when there's sale. I don't buy them at counter because of this reason. It's painstaking when you know you can get the same thing at cheaper price. Haha!!
Some insight of the sales counter. Nars and Shiseido.
This year there are a few brands which are on sale included both Shiseido, Cle De Peau, NARS, ZA, Ettusias, Aqualabel, Majolica Majorca, some hair products from Shiseido such as Tsubaki.

Technically, I ONLY wanted to re-stock my skincare but it wasn't as it planned though. =p

And here's what I got from the sale:

May Favorite~ ❤

I had to apologized to everyone here for my negligence on my blog. I need to admit that I have no energy or discipline on putting myself into blogging after work. Bad me. I know. I actually have so many product reviews that I would love to share with you all. Hopefully I really get enough time to sit and blog about it. Thank goodness we now have other social platform such as Instagram and Facebook. That's my alternative way to stay touch with you'll beside this blog. So please add me if you haven't done so. =p

I've been purchasing lots of things that I really wanted to share with you. But first of all, let me share with you my top 5 favorite products last month.

Spotted anything familiar?

Natural Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel

I read too many raves and reviews on this product. Remember I told you last month that Aloe Vera Gel works very well on my allergy and breakouts? Since then, I am on Aloe Vera product-craze. Lol! Apparently, this is the star product and must-have from Natural Republic. This jar is super huge that I guess it will take me years to finish it up. Since it's a multi - purpose gel, I used it as facial mask and treatment gel for sunburn and insects bite.

So I resorted using products that are safe for my skin. Therefore, this products successfully made it to my top Favorite throughout the month of March and early April.

Looking at the picture, it looks so green isn't it? I'm all to go on natural this month.

Beauty Box Series: Modbox March Edition

Pull your seat belts and sit tight. You will have another adventure going for Slowbro's Beauty Box Series. Today featured Modbox Malaysia - March Edition. To celebrate the International Woman's Day on 8th March last month, Modbox is going back to basic where woman should pamper herself to look the best.

The pretty purple packaging underneath the sturdy purple box take my heart away. Did I mentioned to you that I really like their sturdy box material? It's similar to Fabulous Finds boxes except it's smaller.

I am pretty impressed with my Modbox last month. So I guess I do have a high expectation on this month too. This month box is a bit lighter than the previous one. Nevertheless, 4-5 sample product is still good.

Review: O'slee HD Flawless Rosehip BB Cream

I am back into my BB cream madness. I guess you will be seeing me review a lot of BB Cream this year?? A lot of you may have the thought that BB Cream clogged pores. In fact, yes it does clog my pores as well. But I recently found a little trick on how to avoid this. I'll share this skincare tip with you'll next time ok? Back to the topic, O'slee – which is a famous skincare in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

They say:

Os'lee HD Flawless Rosehip BB Cream SPF26 PA++ gives you flawless nude make up instantly without the help of a foundation, giving your skin translucent whiteness, and providing easy coverage for your pores, dark circles, spots and acne marks. It is extremely breathable, oil-free, dissolves in water, and does not clog pores. O’slee BB Cream has been verified by the SGS to provide SPF26 PA++ protection, and has passed heavy metal safety tests, so you can rest assured of its safety.

Packaging:

The actual tube of O'slee BB Cream is 50ml. But the one I received is 30ml which I think is a sample size. So I wouldn't comment much on the packaging since the full size product and the one I received it's different from the actual size. The one I had is a normal squeeze tube with grey packaging.

Today beauty box series will be featuring Wonderbox Malaysia. I had a lot to say about this company this month. Read on to find out more interesting stories.

Again some of you may ask what and how does this beauty box subscription works?? Every month, you need to pay a certain subscription fee amount for a box which inclusive of 4 - 5 beauty samples and products to deliver to your doorsteps.

This is the Wonderbox March Edition. One glance, the box look kinda empty and light. But small and light doesn't mean is not good right? Let's take a look of the products I got.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed

One particular natural blush that make it to my January Favorite Product is this Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed. I bought this blush last year (yes, I have it with me very long :p ) after reading the raves through blogs early last year.

They say:

A long-wearing, supremely soft blush infused with Amazonian clay harvested from the banks of the Amazon River and naturally baked by the sun. This 12-hour blush universally benefits all skin types for a fade-free, flawless finish in shades ranging from soft to vivid and matte to shimmer to suit a wide variety of skin tones. Amazonian clay minimizes oil in and around pores to balance skin and keep product in place while also hydrating the skin naturally to restore moisture, reducing the appearance of dry, flaky skin. They are available in 12 different shades

Packaging:

I really like the overall packaging of the blush.  It comes in a size if a compact case intact with a small round mirror in. So it makes it easier to carry around except I think they should include a brush as well. But not an issue for me as I usually carry a small brush with me.

The actual cases are the same color as the blush inside, so you don't have to waste any time digging through compacts to find them.
