Review & Swatches: Urban Decay Naked Palette

If you've been around in the blogsphere, I don't need to say how famous and highly raved this eyeshadow palette is. It has been forever Out-Of-Stock in Sephora, Urban Decay, Ulta and etc. Thanks to Ryan!! I finally get my hands on the elusive Urban Decay Naked Palette ($44). It's my first palette from Urban Decay after all!!

This Urban Decay palette come with 12 beautiful neutral colors in a gorgeous brown velvet cupboard mirrored package. This includes 12 full size eyeshadow, double-ended 24/7 liner pencil with Zero (black) and Whiskey (dark reddish brown) and one travel size UD Primer Potion.


Isn't it worth for the price tag? Although I got this for almost US$54 and I'm still happy with it. (Well, it is not available locally so I gonna get it at higher price) 

Honestly when I first received the palette I'm not attracted to the eyeshadow by looking at it until I swatched it. OMG!!! It was so pretty, pigmented and smooth. The eyeshadow even lasted me for more than 6hours without using UDPP as base. Amazing huh?

The palette also contains a double-ended eyeliner, and Zero, the basic creamy black and Whiskey a brand new shade of creamy chocolate brown with red undertones. I finally understand why most people love Urban Decay 24/7 liner. It glides on my lid so smooth!!! Although it tends to smudge on me without primer, but with primer it goes good.

My verdict:
If you’re an eyeshadow lover, Urban Decay’s Naked palette is one that you should own! The shimmery and matte combination shade is all you want for a neutrals and even dark smoky look. If you're having headache on bringing what eyeshadow for travel, I could say this is the best solution. Eyeshadows, liner and base in one.
This UD Naked palette is not limited edition. Therefore, it is unnecessary for you to get this in ebay for more than the price tag. :)
