SlowBro's Top 10 of 2012

We're almost there towards the end of 2012. I believe everyone has been anticipating a beginning of a new year. This year has been an eventful year for me, and I know I just have to show you what's my favorite products throughout the year of 2012.

It's a tough one for me to narrow down my favorite products but below are those that I would highly recommend and repurchase once I run out of it. So here's the top 10 products (I included the link for the products I had reviewed)

1)Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Cream (review)

One of the drugstore product that amazed me lot. Despite the super affordable price tag, it's one the BB cream that suits most skintones without looking like a ghost (greyish). The coverage and staying power is good enough for my everyday basic needs. I'm on the 2nd bottle right now. How could I not rave this?

2) Hada Labo SHA Moisturizing UV Milk SPF 50++ (review)

Sunblock is definitely a staple in your everyday skincare routine. The base that contained higher SPF protect my skin from the harmful UV ray and also hydrates my skin at the same time. Besides that, it works very well as makeup base that make my makeup last even longer. I am on my 3rd bottle right now =)

3) Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette (review)

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette is my most used eyeshadow of the year. Talking about how much I love brown-neutral eyeshadow. The texture and color payoff is very impressive that even without primer/base, it doesn't crease or smudge after long working hours.

4) Revlon Lip Butters

Not surprised to see this on my list ain't you? Everyone has been raving about this for the year. These lip butters are my everyday lip product that I used. It's basically a great to go lip color that doesn't stain your lips. I adores how it glides wonderfully on my lips yet not to drying. I personally own a few colors to play around and match my everyday mood.

5) NARS Orgasm

The Mother of Blusher & everyone's favorite blush!! The slight peachy-pink tone goes very well with the natural makeup day. Even if you did not put any eye makeup, this blusher works wonder on giving you a substantial glow. I used this almost everyday to work and I love it!

6) Kao Essential Hair Products
Remember the time I actually bought sooooo much of Kao Essential hair products home?? I have been using only this brand for my hair throughout the year~~ I bid goodbye to my bad hair day with them and my hair is soooo smooth and soft after using them. I personally wish if they could also invented a hair serum for my curly hair right now. Because their serum work awesomely on my straight hair!

7) Aqualabel Toner

This is one and the only face toner that I've been using throughout the year of 2012. =) I've been using this for bottles and bottles and I seriously love it! Despite having the smell too strong and it may contains alcohol too, it works really well on my skin.

8) Bio-Oil

This oil is one of my favorite body oil to combat my dry skin and lightens my existing scars from my eczema. I know there are many body oils in the market who has better smell than this, but with those fragrance contained I couldn't be use on my eczema skin because it get worse. So far, this helps a lot for my skin condition. =)

9) ZA Eyebrow Pencil

The drugstore eyebrow pencil that won my heart for this year. Their pencil is easy to draw and the color matches my brow very well. The best part is that, the price is very affordable. ^_^  I couldn't resist to re-stock it whenever Watsons had sale. Will review about this soon =)

10) Real Techniques Buffing Brush

Real Techniques brushes by Pixiwoo has been highly raved everywhere. I purchased the Real Techniques Core Brush Set earlier this year. I love how soft and sturdy their brushes are and it doesn't burn your wallet at all. My favorite among all the brushes are the Buffing Brush. I used it as my blusher brush and sometimes even contouring. Definitely my top favorite essential tools. ^_^

What are your favourite products of the year?

I wish to see your list on the comments below. Besides that, thanks for the loves and support from all my friends and readers. Here's wishing everyone a very happy new year ahead, and may all your wishes come true!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!

Loved your list! I like to read lists like this and have been planning out in my head what I will post too. The NAKED 2 palette is with their new eyeshadow formulation, which I love. Definitely doesn't need any primer although I still do use one. This is the 2nd post today that I'm reading about benefits of using Bio Oil--will have to try and look for it.

Thanks for the great reads in 2012 and looking forward to reading your blog in 2013. I hope that 2013 will be a wonderful year for you. Happy New Year!
